HEALTH EQUATIONS MALIC ACID
Each capsule contains 300 mg of malic acid. Malic Acid capsules in conjunction with a Lyte Solution is clinically proven as the optimum way to provide acid for digestion. Many if not most people, especially
those over 50, are deficient in stomach acid. Stomach acid is
essential for digestion, particularly of proteins. Even the
sometimes recommended four Malic Acid capsules is a small amount of
acid compared to what your stomach ideally makes. In addition to
the acid, malic acid provides malate, an ideal fuel for cells.
The combination of the right Health Equations Electrolyte Formula
for you with the Health Equations Malic Acid capsules speeds up your
metabolism.
HEALTH EQUATIONS EPA
EPA is a wonderful fat. Its
most abundant source is cold water fish, in particular salmon. It is
an anti-inflammatory, it can reduce cholesterol and in pharmacologic amounts,
i.e., in higher amounts than found in food, it often successfully and remarkably
reduces allergies. EPA is the active form of linolenic acid. Linolenic
acid is abundant in flax seed and flaxseed oil. However, the conversion
of linolenic acid to EPA in the body is slow and limited. That is why
an EPA supplement is sometimes very useful. There are two cautions to
be aware of with supplementing EPA. First, it can cause dehydration.
This is noticeable as dry skin, dry mouth, headaches, or even diarrhea.
Each person’s tolerance is different. One person may tolerate
up to 9 per day (3 with each meal) and find that ‘arthritis’ (inflammation)
disappears. Another person may only tolerate 1-3 EPA, and this amount
takes care of all allergic symptoms.
Secondly, since EPA supplements
are derived from fish, contaminants, particularly of PCBs, must be considered.
And because EPA is a fat that is an oil, rancidity must be considered as well.
The Health Equations EPA supplement has no contaminants and is quality controlled
to ensure the lowest rancidity on the market.
NOTE: The cost of the Health
Equations EPA 300 is greater than that of other EPA supplements because great
care is taken to provide the highest quality fish oil available.
The EPA 300 . . .
* comes
from salmon, mackerel or tuna, not cod liver oil.
* is processed through
molecular distillation to remove PCBs and cholesterol.
* is produced in very
small batches to guarantee minimum shelf time and a very
fresh product for the end user.
All omega 3 and omega 6 oils are
highly subject to oxidation and rancidity. An independent essay comparing
Health Equations EPA 300 to another EPA supplement, produced by a well known
supplement producer, showed that Health Equations EPA 300 had a rancidity
level one fourth that of the other EPA. Rancid lipids damage tissues.
Rancidity must be avoided at all costs. If not, do not use omega
3 and omega 6 oils and supplements.
The major salts and minerals dissolved in the
water both inside and outside the cells are sodium, potassium,
chloride, magnesium and phosphorous. Once dissolved these salts
and minerals become charged. The electrolyte formulas recommended by
the Health Equations Blood Test Evaluation — Lyte Solution,
Lyte CL solution and Lyte K Solution— balance the concentrations
of these charged elements both inside and outside the cell. The
difference in the concentrations and ratios of these charged elements
inside vs outside the cells literally charges the cell. A charged
cell performs much more efficiently and effectively and generates more
energy. All of the Lyte Solutions also contain 65 trace minerals. See Electrolytes
Lyte Solution Concentrate, 16 oz.
One serving - two teaspoons of Concentrate in 8
oz of drinking water – contains: 180 mg Sodium, 260 mg Chloride,
40 mg Potassium, 70 mg Phosphate, 20 mg Magnesium, 122 mg Sulfate. In
addition to these major electrolytes the solution contains less than 1
mg each of 65 trace elements.
Lyte Cl Concentrate, 16 oz.
One serving - two teaspoons of Concentrate in 8
oz of drinking water – contains: 135 mg Sodium, 333 mg Chloride,
40 mg Potassium, 70 mg Phosphate, 20 mg Magnesium, 122 mg Sulfate. In
addition to these major electrolytes the solution contains less than 1
mg each of 65 trace elements.
Lyte K Concentrate, 16 oz.
One serving - two teaspoons of Concentrate in 8
oz of drinking water – contains: 120 mg Sodium, 168 mg Chloride,
98 mg Potassium, 170 mg Phosphorus (as phosphates), 20 mg Magnesium,
166 mg Sulfate. In addition to these major electrolytes the
solution contains less than1 mg each of 65 trace elements.
The Health equations Calcium and Magnesium Plus
formulas are a proven and effective way to deliver calcium and other
minerals to the site of mineral absorption in the small intestine.
Delivery to the site of absorption means a very high and reliable
percent of absorption. A high and reliable percent of absorption
means you get what you take. Not only do you get what you take,
you will not have a lot of calcium and minerals that are not absorbed
causing harm to digestion as they go through (and out) the digestive
tract. See Calcium and Magnesium Plus
HEALTH EQUATIONS CALCIUM
Each capsule contains 100 mg of calcium. Many
people are calcium deficient because they do not absorb the calcium
from their food; because they lose calcium in their urine (this happens
when the tissue and cell cholesterol is high); because calcium is bound
up and therefore not available (this happens when the tissue and cell
cholesterol is low); because they are eating processed foods; because
they are not eating enough protein and/or fat; because they are not
digesting protein and/or fat; or because there is not enough calcium in
their diet.
Each capsule contains 50 mg Magnesium, 25 mg
Calcium, 1.5 mg Zinc, 0.35 mg Copper, 0.1 mg Manganese, 0.03 mg
Chromium, and 0.012 mg Molybdenum.
The Health Equations Magnesium Plus are a magnesium
formula. Magnesium is the main mineral in this formula. The other
minerals in this formula are necessary for the magnesium to work.
Magnesium is concentrated inside the cells. The calcium, zinc, copper,
manganese, chromium and molybdenum in this formula are in the same
ratios to magnesium as found ideally inside the cells.
The calcium:magnesium ratio in this Formula is 1:
2. The commonly held ideal ratio of calcium to magnesium is 2:1.
The ratio of calcium:magnesium in the Health Equations Formula is
opposite the usual ratio. It is opposite because: a) this is the
ratio inside the cell; and b) while some people do indeed need the
usual 2:1 ratio, others need a 1:1 ratio and still others need a 1:2
ratio. The Health Equations Blood Test Evaluation determines the
right ratio for each individual. Your Recommendations will give
you the right ratio for you. There are calcium and magnesium in
three Health Equations Formulas-- the Calcium, Magnesium Plus and Electrolyte
Formulas. All three may be used to give you the right ratio.
The Health Equations Magnesium Plus Formula is used to
correct magnesium deficiencies. The majority of the soil in the
world is magnesium deficient. Therefore most foods are magnesium
deficient. The Health Equations Magnesium Plus Formula is also used to
correct and fine-tune the calcium:magnesium ratio in the body.
Magnesium deficiencies as well as the "wrong" calcium:
magnesium ratio contribute to everything from heart disease and muscle
cramping to high blood pressure and the inability to relax.

WHY OUR OWN FORMULAS?
1. Health Equations began making its own Formulas
because neither the Health
Equations Electrolyte Formulas nor
the Health Equations Calcium and Magnesium Plus
Formulas existed. Each of
these Formulas is "one of a kind."
2. Then Health Equations began making its own
Formulas of products that already
existed for "quality
control" purposes, that is, to insure you get what you take
OR get what you are told you are
taking.
3. Health Equations has documented the
effectiveness of the Health Equations
Formulas with a database of over 20,000 Blood Test Evaluations.
Health Equations has not documented
the effectiveness of other products.
